Special Piping Material Ltd is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch in Dubai . This new operation is being spearheaded by newly appointed Middle Eastern and India regional Manager Zishan Ali Khan. Zishan has many years experience working in the oil and gas sectors of the Middle East and will develop SPM’s presence in the area, particularly relating to the sales of Super Duplex, Duplex and 6% Moly pipes, fittings and flanges.
Duplex and Super Duplex is now used in the construction of desalination and water purification systems as well as oil and gas.
SPM have offices and stock facilities in Manchester (UK) Aberdeen (UK) Singapore, Houston, Perth (Australia) and now Dubai.
In addition to Duplex/Super Duplex, SPM carry stocks of 6% Moly, Nickel alloy 825 and 625 and stainless steel. All exotic grades such as Hastelloy, Cupro Nickel and Titanium are also within our scope.
All stock material is tested in accordance with the latest editions of NORSOK MDS and Shell MESC specification from PDO and M-650 approved suppliers.
SPM are approved by most major users such as ADNOC, ADGAS, PETRONAS, QGPC, SHELL, BP, AKER, BECHTEL, KBR etc.
Our quality management system complies with ISO 9001:2008 and SPM are active members of FPAL and EIC.

Special Piping Materials Ltd is pleased to announce it is increasing its global presence by opening an office in Houston, Texas. Daniel Composto has been appointed VP Sales Executive. Special Piping Materials have already created inroads in the USA, South American and Canadian Markets and Daniel plans to increase these with a permanent address in the heart of the USA’s oil industry.
This new venture gives Special Piping Materials a global sales and service team with offices in England, Singapore, Australia, Scotland and now the USA. The recent addition of an office and warehouse in Aberdeen Scotland has also proved successful in servicing Scotland, the North Sea, and surrounding areas.
During the last three years SPM has dramatically increased its European manufactured stock level of pipes, fittings and flanges. Stock is now kept in Singapore, Britain and Australia of Duplex S31803, Super Duplex S32750/60, 6% Moly, Nickel Alloys and Stainless Steels.
Over the years SPM has become renowned for specialising in the supply of the ‘hard to source’ items and exotic stainless steels such as 904L, 310, 304H etc.
Special Piping Materials has seen massive growth over the past two years and has received glowing reports from clients after working on projects such as Khursaniyah and Pearl. Flexibility and knowledge is key to Special Piping Materials. With highly trained, dedicated and creative staff, urgent and detailed deliveries are their speciality. SPM also carry flanges in stock part machined ready to produce raised face or RTJ finish in any wall thickness in a matter of days.
